I am excited to welcome you to my first, I would say functional, website of the Insimis.cz project. It was quite a long and thorny journey. The Easter holidays are in full swing and I’m not sitting around launching the first https pages with a valid certificate, all in a Docker container. Routine for some, adventure and a new world for me.
I learned to navigate choosing a domain provider, creating it, linking it to the address of a physical location outside the domain provider’s hosting. I’ve tried various environments capable of hosting WordPress, from VM Ware Linux Ubuntu to Synology’s package to Docker. Concepts such as MySQL, PHP, Proxy or Reverse Proxy, HTTP up to Let’s Encrypt and HTTPS are familiar to me and Compose.yaml will do a lot of work.
I am very happy, but at the same time I feel very humble, after all, this is only the beginning of the journey.
